[ISLAMIC RESPONSE TO WESTERN RELIGIOUS IDEOLOGIES: PLURALISM AND NEGATIVE THEOLOGY] TANTANGAN ISLAM TERHADAP IDEOLOGI AGAMA BARAT: PLURALISME DAN TEOLOGI NEGATIF

Pemikiran Barat kini membawa ideologi agama melalui pluralisme dan dekonstruksi falsafah. Pluralisme agama menolak kebenaran mutlak dengan menganggap semua agama sebagai sebanding, manakala dekonstruksi falsafah merombak makna agama dengan menolak makna tunggal tentang agama dan Tuhan. Sebagai respons, Islam menegaskan bahawa kebenaran agama adalah satu berasaskan wahyu dan akal tanpa percanggahan di antara kedua-duanya. Begitu juga secara akal tidak ada makna beragama dengan menafikan agama. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, metode analisis kandungan dan analisis perbandingan terhadap ideologi falsafah Barat dan penghujahan Islam dengan merujuk kepada karya utama tokoh-tokoh falsafah Barat dan sarjana Islam. Pendekatan perbandingan turut digunakan untuk menilai perbezaan penghujahan antara kedua-dua perspektif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa Islam mempunyai asas yang disandarkan kepada wahyu mempunyai signifikan dalam menunjukkan kebenaran. Di samping rasional yang kukuh dalam mempertahankan keabsahan agama sebagai benar, mutlak dan objektif.

Abstract
Western thought today introduces religious ideology through pluralism and philosophical deconstruction. Religious pluralism rejects absolute truth by considering all religions as equally valid, while philosophical deconstruction dismantles the meaning of religion by denying a singular interpretation of religion and God. In response, Islam asserts that religious truth is singular, based on revelation and reason, without contradiction between the two. Logically, too, there is no meaningful sense of being religious while denying religion itself. This study adopts a qualitative approach, employing content analysis and comparative analysis methods to examine Western philosophical ideologies and Islamic arguments by referring to the key works of Western philosophers and Islamic scholars. A comparative approach is also used to evaluate the differences in reasoning between the two perspectives. The findings show that Islam, with its foundation in revelation, holds significant weight in affirming truth. It also presents strong rational justifications in defending the legitimacy of religion as true, absolute, and objective.
