Penerimaan Aplikasi E-Wallet Pre-Covid-19 di Kalangan Penduduk di Lembah Klang (The Acceptance of E-Wallet Application Pre-COVID 19 among Lembah Klang Residents)
Abstract
E-wallet atau dompet digital merupakan aplikasi elektronik yang digunakan untuk transaksi secara atas talian menggunakan “smatphone” atau “mobile device”. Fungsinya adalah seperti kad kredit atau debit yang dihubungkan dengan akaun bank individu bagi tujuan pembayaran secara digital. Di Malaysia, terdapat lebih 30 lesen e-wallet yang telah dikeluarkan oleh Bank Negara Malaysia. Perkembangan ini mampu menjadikan e-wallet suatu instrumen pembayaran yang merubah landskap transaksi ke arah tanpa tunai. Banyak yang telah diperkatakan tentang e-wallet, namun masih kurang kajian mengenainya secara lebih mendalam. Maka, kajian ini dijalankan untuk meninjau penerimaan penggunaan e-wallet serta mengenalpasti faktor pendorong dan penghalang penerimaan e-wallet dalam kalangan pengguna di sekitar Lembah Klang. Sebanyak 200 responden terlibat dalam kajian ini. Data telah dikumpulkan melalui soal selidik atas talian menggunakan platform ‘Google Form’. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan penerimaan yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan e-wallet dalam kalangan responden. Antara faktor utama yang mendorong penerimaan penggunaan e-wallet adalah disebabkan faktor kelebihan, faktor kemudahan, faktor kegunaan, faktor kecenderungan dan pengaruh sosial. Di samping itu, antara penghalang utama penggunaan aplikasi e-wallet adalah ketidaksediaan pihak peniaga dalam menyediakan kemudahan e-wallet dan capaian internet yang tidak baik semasa melakukan transaksi pembayaran. Hasil kajian ini dapat memberikan pemahaman asas tentang faktor-faktor penerimaan dan penghalang penggunaan aplikasi e-wallet yang berguna kepada penyedia e-wallet, golongan peniaga dan pihak berkepentingan seperti Bank Negara Malaysia.
