Scope

e-Bangi Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities provides a unique forum for theoretical debates, literature review discussion and empirical analysis across the field of social and behavioral sciences and the humanities, including:

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to e-Bangi Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities undergo an initial editorial screening to assess content relevance and overall scholarly quality. Where necessary, the corresponding author will be contacted to submit a revised version prior to peer review.

Manuscripts that pass the screening stage are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by a minimum of two independent reviewers. Decisions regarding publication are made based on the Section Editor’s recommendations.

Manuscripts are evaluated according to their appropriateness for e-Bangi, contribution to the discipline, cogency of analysis, conceptual breadth, clarity of presentation, and technical adequacy. To ensure that manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit, the identities of authors are concealed from reviewers throughout the review process.

Manuscripts submitted by members of the Section Editor are subject to the same peer review procedures as all other submissions.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Special Themes Policy

e-Bangi: Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities currently publishes Special Themes only.

Special Themes consist of thematic clusters of articles published within regular issues of the journal. These themes are curated and managed internally by the journal’s Section Editors and Editor-in-Chief as part of the standard editorial process.

The journal does not currently publish guest-edited Special Issues. All manuscripts submitted under Special Themes undergo the same rigorous peer-review process as regular submissions, and final publication decisions remain under the authority of the Editor-in-Chief.

This journal is published quarterly (four times a year); February, May, August and November
