Aplikasi Maqasid Shariah dalam Menangani Cabaran Isu Pemikiran Kontemporari (Application of Maqasid Shariah in Adressing Challenges of Contemporary Thought Issues)
Abstract
Artikel ini membincangkan aplikasi Maqasid Shariah dalam menangani cabaran isu pemikiran kontemporari. Maqasid Shariah merujuk kepada tujuan utama hukum syarak itu diadakan. Ia juga bertujuan untuk memastikan bahawa segala peraturan dan hukum dalam Islam membawa kebaikan serta manfaat kepada manusia. Maqasid Shariah merangkumi penjagaan agama, nyawa, akal, keturunan, dan harta. Kesemua elemen Maqasid Shariah sebenarnya memainkan peranan penting dalam mengimbangi perubahan sosial, budaya, dan pemikiran moden. Ini kerana di era kontemporari, pelbagai bentuk aliran pemikiran telah wujud seiring dengan perubahan dunia sains dan teknologi moden. Objektif kajian ini memfokuskan peranan Maqasid Shariah dalam pemikiran Islam moden, seterusnya peranan Maqasid Shariah sebagai medium untuk menangani isu pemikiran masakini seperti liberalisme, sekularisme, pluralisme dan krisis moral. Kaedah penyelidikan yang digunakan dalam kajian ini ialah kaedah kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tema Maqasid Shariah serta tema isu-isu semasa. Data kemudiannya dinilai kandungan dan dianalisis. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahawa penerapan Maqasid Shariah dapat menjadi kerangka yang berkesan dalam membentuk dasar dan pendekatan yang relevan untuk menyelesaikan cabaran pemikiran kontemporari. Artikel ini turut mencadangkan langkah strategik untuk meningkatkan kefahaman dan pengamalan Maqasid Shariah dalam kehidupan masyarakat madani serta moden.
Abstract: This article discusses the application of Maqasid Shariah in addressing the challenges of contemporary thought issues. Maqasid Shariah refers to the primary objectives of Islamic law. It aims to ensure that all rules and laws in Islam bring goodness and benefits to humanity. Maqasid Shariah encompasses the preservation of religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property. All these elements of Maqasid Shariah play a crucial role in balancing social, cultural, and modern intellectual changes. This is because, in the contemporary era, various forms of thought have emerged alongside advancements in modern science and technology. The objective of this study focuses on the role of Maqasid Shariah in modern Islamic thought, and subsequently, its role as a medium to address current intellectual issues such as liberalism, secularism, pluralism, and moral crises. The research method used in this study is qualitative. Data was collected through themes of Maqasid Shariah and current issues. The data was then content-evaluated and analyzed. The findings of this study indicate that the application of Maqasid Shariah can serve as an effective framework in shaping relevant policies and approaches to resolve contemporary intellectual challenges. This article also suggests strategic steps to enhance the understanding and practice of Maqasid Shariah in the lives of civil and modern society.
